Insurance for Nutrition Counseling

We accept Highmark BCBS, Aetna, Contigo, UPMC, Peak Health, The Health Plan, PEIA and UMWA insurances. We are currently in the process of contracting with other major insurance companies for 2024.

Most insurance companies have coverage for nutrition counseling. Depending on your insurance nutrition counseling may be covered at 100% or with co-insurance/co-pay. When you reach out to us, we will collect your insurance information and call to verify your benefits for you.

If you don't have insurance or we are not in network with your insurance, we have self-pay rates for our services. See chart below.

Nutrition Counseling

Please note, all appointments are via secure telehealth video conferencing. 

Initial Nutrition Consultation

During this session, we will get to know each other and your (or your child's) specific nutrition needs. You will leave the session with actionable and specific goals to help you start your journey. Session length: 60-75 minutes.

Out of Pocket:

Cost $125

Follow-up Session

During this session, we will continue progress on your nutrition journey by talking, celebrating successes, pivoting, and problem-solving barriers. By the end of the session, you will have additional or revised nutrition goals.

Out of Pocket:

Option 1: One Hour $75

Option 2: Thirty Minute $55

Option 3: Bundle of 3 one hour sessions $195 (save $30)

Option 4: Bundle of 3 thirty minute sessions $135 (save $30)
